Thank you Apache Foundation!

The Apache Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Apache Corporation located in Houston, Texas, began partnering with the Tree Bank Foundation in 2008 to support its commitment to environmentally responsible projects. The Apache Foundation Tree Planting Program has distributed over 114,000 trees to Oklahoma residents and communities through the Tree Bank Foundation.

This program has resulted in more trees being planted than any other program in Tree Bank history!

2008 – inaugural year of the program
     • 41,000 3-gallon trees donated in Oklahoma
     • 740 seedlings donated in Oklahoma

2009 - 41,385 3-gallon trees donated in Oklahoma

2010 - 23,371 3-gallon trees donated in Oklahoma

2011 – 10,000 3-gallons trees donated in Oklahoma,
with 10,000 more planned for fall 2011 distribution

Through these generous, on-going contributions, the Apache Foundation Tree Planting Program has been a great success, contributing over $137,000,000 in landscaping value once the trees reach maturity and $630,000 in air pollution reduction by the trees.

The Tree Bank Foundation did not receive any financial compensation from these donations. All of the donated funds were used to purchase and deliver the trees.

Thank you Apache Foundation!
